Mission of Choral Morphosis Arts Society: To provide the opportunity for adults with developmental and physical disabilities to participate in music and arts, regardless of their abilities. To nurture all in a fun, safe and inclusive environment.

 

Time Commitment: August 10 - 14, 2026, from 9:00 am to 4pm inclusive.

 

Location: Chrysalis Edmonton 13325 St Albert Trail NW, Edmonton, AB T5L 4R3 

 

Compensation: $150/day or $750/week

 

Background Information: Choral Morphosis is a musical program open to adults 16 and older with developmental or physical disability. We provide opportunities for singers to express themselves through the gift of music.   Through singing, movement and instrument use, singers will enjoy the gift music brings.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate person to join our team for the 2026 Summer Music Camp.

 

Job Description: The Assistant to the Director will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our Music Camp. This individual will work closely with the Director to ensure the smooth and successful execution of camp activities, providing an enriching and inclusive experience for all our campers.

Responsibilities:

• Accompany singing with piano or guitar.

• Help coordinate the activities of the camp staff and volunteers, providing necessary support and resources.

• Help maintain a positive and inclusive camp environment.

• Collaborate with the Director in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all campers.

• Assist where the Director requires.

Requirements:

• Ability to read music and play piano or guitar to accompany is essential.

• Understanding of adaptive techniques to make music education accessible for individuals with various disabilities.

• Ability to create an engaging, inclusive and positive environment for all campers.

• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.

• Police record check.

• First Aid is considered an asset.
